About smoking and meditating
Read this somewhere on reddit
Student: Teacher, may we smoke while we meditate?.
Teacher: Of course not! Don't be ridiculous, you are meditating! focus! smoking is nothing but a distraction.
So the student goes quiet for a while, thinking about what the teacher has said.
Student: Teacher, may we meditate while we are smoking?
Teacher: Of course! You may meditate whenever you like! Don't let what you are doing stop you from practicing!

The Cult of Done Manifesto
How to live your life by Bre Pettis and Kio Stark: There are three states of being. Not knowing, action and completion. Accept that everything is a draft. It helps to get it done. There is no editing stage. Pretending you know what you’re doing is almost the same as knowing what you are doing, so just accept that you know what you’re doing even if you don’t and do it. Banish...

The farmer and the horse
A farmer had only one horse. One day, his horse ran away. All the neighbors came by saying, “I’m so sorry. This is such bad news. You must be so upset.” The man just said, “We’ll see.” A few days later, his horse came back with twenty wild horses. The man and his son corraled all 21 horses. All the neighbors came by saying, “Congratulations! This is such good news. You must be so...
